Source encompasses the creative endeavors of Carrie Landry Cowles. With a background in the arts from Massachusetts College of Art, in 1995 Carrie went on to pursue a career in Landscape Design in the Bay Area of California. After having children she did some graphic design production and started Sugar Peas Cloth Diapers in 2002, which she sold after growing it to a small mass manufacturing company.
In 2006 she pursued her other passion of cooking and starting working as a chef and in 2009 had the opportunity to open her own Farm to Table Restaurant Zest in Tolland, CT. After winning Best Restaurant in Tolland County for all 3 years they were open (among many other categories!) Zest sadly succumbed to the poor economy and had to close.
Source is based in Coventry, CT where Carrie is now at home with a new baby and working on multiple interest and as always sustainability is always on the forefront , advocating cloth diapers and natural baby products as well as cooking with local naturally produced foods.
